Next Stop…DC

Made it to DC (was knocked OUT the entire flight) and first stop.. The famous Ben’s Chili Bowl. I have to say the chili cheese dogs were quite yummy (I love HOT DOGS). This was a perfect first stop. Other than that we got a nice little tour of the city from my cousin and after that I was so tired I had to take a nap (WHAT?! I had to wake up at 4:30 in the morning). I haven’t moved into my place yet, so I’ll update you when I do. See you soon!

Last Day in Houston!

So today is my last day in Houston. It’s sort of crazy how much things are changing. Sometimes I feel like I just got to college. Now I’m a college graduate who has only been at home for a few weeks and is in the process of getting shipped to Washington D.C. I feel like this is a huge deal that sometimes I can’t even wrap my head around it. Washington DC is nothing at all like Houston or Nashville. It’ll take some time getting used to but I think I’m ready for a new city, new experiences, public transportation, and FRIGID winters. This is going to open up so many doors that I haven’t even come in contact with. I’m so ready, or at least I think so. Next time you hear from me I’ll be in our country’s capitol. Until Then!

This thing called blogging?

Hello Readers!!! This is officially my first blog post from my first blog. Honestly, I have no idea what I am doing. You are probably reading this wondering….hmmm…Why should I read this blog? She’s no expert, she only has a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt? What makes this blog worth reading? Well, to tell you the truth..NOPE, I am no expert in anything really, but I’m blogging because my life is about to change in a whole new way. I’m moving on to bigger and better things and I want to shout it from the hill tops (the Capitol Hill tops that is)! Now after graduating from Vanderbilt, I’m ready to thrust myself into my new life, my new school (GWU), and new adventures in my new city. I’m so ready for everything that is in store, and I hope you can follow me on my journey. This blog has no constraints. I will literally write about WHATEVER I feel like writing about…food, coffee, books, injustices in the world, or random going-ons of life. Please feel free to read and I hope you enjoy!

THANKS!
